Checkpoint 1.2 - Display your character's parents.
I never knew my father. Mother told me only what I needed to know about him. She didn't like to talk about him, so I didn't ask often. What I did figure out was that he was a Friesian of some kind. It was obvious he wasn't 100% pure-blood, because of his champagne coloring, but his build was completely that of a Friesian, minus that he was a bit tall for one. She didn't tell me what he looked like, but I can guess at least. He must have been a classic champagne, like myself. I imagine him being very darkly colored, even compared to my own colors. He has dark cold eyes that show no mercy. Ugly scars litter his whole body as a display of the fights he has both lost and won in the herd. A few times I've tried to find a horse such as this in the herd, but I can't be sure. There is one stallion who appears the right build and color, but his temperament... it's just not right. It doesn't fit what my father is like. He's mean, cruel even I'm sure. I know mother wasn't afraid of him though. She's so very brave. She would have stood up to him when he tried to push her around... but a mare can only fight back so much before they are taken. She is so small compared to a horse of his size, she wouldn't have stood a chance. The image I get when I think about him... I can't. I hate to think of anyone trying to hurt my mother. At least she's free from that now. Father can't hurt her anymore. She has a mate, one who loves her, and she has a son. They are a happy family.

Looookie! It's another Checkpoint for Niya. This time it's showing her biological family. You might have picked up the hints from her description, but she knows nothing about her father and is actually very mistaken by who he is. Well.. his looks she is right about, but as for his personality she's quite wrong. This picture displays how she sees him, not how he really is. He might not have been the nicest thing in the world, after all, he was a Bachelor, but he wasn't brutal. He isn't a monster though and it is actually thanks to him that Niya's mother was able to get away the day that they did. Her mother doesn't talk about him - not because she is frightened or upset by bad memories, but because she misses him and it hurts her heart to have left him. They loved each other, believe it or not, and if it had not been for her unhappiness at the herd, they might have married. Buuuuut I'm telling you too much. If you wanna learn more you'll have to wait for her parents' NPC pages. They will come, possibly very soon. Until then, enjoy what information you have. ^^

I feel kind of bad for the father now... Poor guy doing the right thing but seeming like the bad guy in his own daughters eyes.
