Personality: Einai is a dear soul who would do no harm to anyone had he the ability to stop evil through peace. Sadly though, he knows that this is not possible, and so he stands on the side of the innocent, of the helpless. He gives of himself to those around him, sacrificing his time (in a very literal way) in order to make them happy.
He is quite, but not shy in the least. He is extremely friendly and will talk to almost anyone. His patience holds well, but trouble-makers tend to rub him the wrong way and at times he can get quite cross. Still, even when angered, he is skilled in containing control, only raising his voice when upset, and never jumping into a fight. He thrives for peace and will always seek it first rather then war, no matter how much he hates someone.
Despite his young age, he is extremely mature, often comes off as a much older horse. Some say that the 'mask' has made him age faster, while others say that it has simply brought to his realization just how little time he has to live and so he doesn't waste it by being childish. He has also learned much in his few years, as he is very observant. He is very knowledgeable when it comes to the social tendencies of others and is therefor an amazing judge of character, often able to tell what someone is like just by observing the way they carry themselves and other body language on first sight.
History: When he was about one year old though, he happened to be wondering around (as back then he was a very energetic, explorative colt) when he came upon something very interesting. It was a horse but one unlike any he had ever seen before. He was perfectly white and his eyes shone with a glassy stare that sent Einai trembling under his skin. He tried to run, but it was too late, the moment he looked into those icy eyes, he felt a cold sensation wrap around his face. He screamed, but no one heard.
It turns out he had run upon a fallen angel, and quite the evil one at that. He was searching for soldiers who would serve him when he lead a war against the Lord. In order for him to attain these soldiers though, it took time, and though he had all the time in the world, his prospects did not. The angel had found that yearlings were the perfect age for his needs as his spell would take it's desired affect in five years, bringing him soldiers at the perfect age of 6.
And thus began the new life of Einai. As soon as he realized what had happened (he had been told by a wizard), he desired to live his life to the fullest. He did everything a normal cold would do, that is, until he killed his play mate. It was then they found out that the 'mask' gave him rather interesting abilities, the ability to control life itself. Within his grasps lay the very ability to manipulate life, health, and death. With this ability came great power but, as with all, great responsibility.
Einai was afraid to let himself near anyone at all whilst he learned how to control these abilities. He was afraid he would do the same thing again. For two years he wandered alone, studying his powers, learning to harness them for good and not for evil. Now that he has perfected them, he wanders around, longing to help anyone he can so that he can feel like his damned life is indeed useful - that he is meant for something.
Other: He was born without the white 'mask' on his face as well as without the rabicano markings and the white on his back. His eyes were originally brown but now they are loosing their color and turning an icy blue as his soul is slowly drained from his own body. As his soul departs, the white markings along his back and under his belly slowly spread wider, taking over his body. It is symbolic of his body being cleansed from the sin that accompanies one's soul. When his whole body is white, when there is not a colored spot on him, the transformation will be complete and the fallen angel will have him as his soldier (or so that's what he hopes ).
His voice is near perfect, almost sounding angelic. There is seldom a flaw in his speech, his voice never cracks, and he can often manipulate others to fallow his will simply by use of his voice with the aid of his eyes.
Which brings me to his eyes, his beautiful eyes. They are not like other eyes. They are not only two colors, but there is an interesting pattern to them of brown and blue, and it somewhat resembles that of stained glass. His eyes are his weapon. If he can not see you, he can not use his abilities - he cannot heal, nor harm you.
Ah yes, now onto his powers. *rubs hands* You see, this little guy (though he's not really that little) has the ability to manipulate life itself (to a degree). In fact, he controls three things (which branch into one): life, health, and death. Through his abilities, he can prolong the life of someone, heal them, or even end their life with the blink of an eye. He cannot, however, bring someone back once they are already dead. He can only manipulate the life that is already within the body. Once it has departed - once the soul has left - he no longer has any control. This being said, using his powers does speed up his transformation, causing the white to spread faster. The same happens when he exerts himself too much for long periods of time.
Another cool ability that he has (which kinda goes with the whole controlling life, health, and death thing) But he can also take away the health of someone else. In other words, he can cause them to be ill, or to suffer some kind of internal pane. Don't worry though, he can't make you skin open up just by looking at you. It's more of a mental thing. Often, as he doesn't like causing real pain, he tends to use what he calls an 'icy pain' which makes it feel like you've been submerged in a block of ice. You're limb (or whatever else it is he targets) goes numb and you have no control over it. This can actually be a good thing when someone is in extreme pain as he can make it go away simply by numbing it.
