Description
There was silence after his reply to the mare. He’d angered her, he was sure. The silence didn’t last long though. Suddenly the horrifying sound of hoof slipping against rock met his sensitive ears and in the next instant the vines around his back legs tightened and then jerked back hard, pulling them both out from under him. Everything seemed to happen in slow motion, as fast as it might have been. The sound, the pain, the feeling of the cold snow on his underbelly as he lay, being pulled back by the far too heavy weight of the huge mare, the panic as he tried to grip at something with his front legs, and the realization that this could be the end. It all came so slowly, and then it was over.
It was silent for a moment more as he took in the breath he had been holding. The pull on his back legs loosened as the world was once more still. He gave himself a moment to recover before the upset hustle of hooves all around him drew his attention to the fact he was laying sprawled in the snow, and it was making him all the colder. Careful to stay away from the ledge he shifted until he could get on his knees, then pulling his back legs out from behind him and finally raising himself back to his hooves.

I feel so slow. I procrastinate too much. But here's the first objective picture of several. I still have at least one more for Ky and then two for Ari so far to do. I should have enough time though if I can get one done a day. This was slightly rushed and I'm not all that pleased with it. the snow I like though... haha.
I really wanted to draw a big horsie too and was trying to decide between Ace and Tarial. I love them both so much but in the end I decided on Ace just because I have fallen in love with him since I saw his very first post. I'm not sure about anyone else, but I've always seen the order of them all going: Grange, Mellia, Ace, Kyanos, and lastly Tarial, so that's how I drew them. Our poor babies. Cain why you so mean to them?

But back to the drawing. I really like it! I love the size difference between Ace and kyanos, I love how you did the vines and I love their expressions! Even without reading the story you know what's going on and that's a great thing
I feel bad for these babies though, why must they be tortured D: I hope everything ended well for them!
