Like A New Penny

This picture really shows off Yankee's true colors. In the summer he's so shiny with a nice red sheen to his coat, I love it! It's funny, I never was much of a fan of Chestnuts. I always thought they were too plain and boring, but Yankee changed that for me. This is his first week at the new barn, in quarantine all by himself, I came to visit him a lot those first weeks to help him transfer and settle in. I really liked the colors in this picture though, it was so sunny that day it was hard to get any good pictures.
