Tied Up

Poor little Four seems to have gotten himself in a knot. Such a clumsy little thing. Hopefully he can get himself untangled without hurting himself, lol.

So, I've challenged myself to do one unreffed sketch every day. I don't have to finish it, it can be just a rough sketch, but I have to do one a day. I'm trying to help get more comfortable with drawing without relying too much on references. During the holiday season I got a bit distracted and stopped doing this. Yesterday I started again though and accidentally made a new character... oops. I really like him though, he might be the next one I bring in after Four reaches 100 points. Today I was feeling so inspired to draw or write about the other guy though. I restrained myself though, and told myself that my daily sketch should be of Four to help get back into him again. And this is what happened of it. I really liked the rough sketch enough to do a clean sketch, and liked that enough to color and then shade it. Actually, I'm super happy with this. For an odd position, without using any references, I think I did ok. And I've got my muse for Four back now too. He's just too cute that I can't help but love him. <3

So yeah... that's about it. A sketch that turned into a little more. Enjoy the poor little cute thing.
